We are hoping to find a student/senior with an open schedule and an ability to commit to assisting our family with child care responsibilities for the 2007-2008 elementary school year. This is also an excellent job for a parent of a child (one child) as your child is most welcome to be at our home during all working hours or for a senior who would love to continue working.
Ideally, we are looking for someone to do after school care. Along with playing with children light meal preparation would also be a duty. No care (or very little) is needed during Xmas vacation, or on weekends/holidays so there is plenty of time for you to have your own family time.
Our children are age 4 and 7. One will be in all day Kindergarten and the other is in Grade 3. Hence working hours would be M-F 3:30 - 6:30 pm. If you would like more hours that can be arranged as well.
Requirements:
Ability to travel to Fraser Heights - Surrey. Car is an asset but not necessary. Our kids attend an all French school although English is the primary language spoken at home.
Applicants will be asked to undergo and pass a criminal record check. Our family requires a highly organized and a take charge person yet flexible enough to hang out on the playground and walk home depending on the weather.
