We are hoping to find a student/senior with an open schedule and an ability to commit to assisting our family with child care responsibilities for the 2007-2008 elementary school year. This is also an excellent job for a parent of a child (one child) as your child is most welcome to be at our home during all working hours or for a senior who would love to continue working.
Ideally, we are looking for someone to do after school care. Along with playing with children light meal preparation would also be a duty. No care (or very little) is needed during Xmas vacation, or on weekends/holidays so there is plenty of time for you to have your own family time.
Our children are age 4 and 7. One will be in all day Kindergarten and the other is in Grade 3. Hence working hours would be M-F 3:30 - 6:30 pm. If you would like more hours that can be arranged as well.
Requirements:
Ability to travel to Fraser Heights - Surrey. Car is an asset but not necessary. Our kids attend an all French school although English is the primary language spoken at home.
Applicants will be asked to undergo and pass a criminal record check. Our family requires a highly organized and a take charge person yet flexible enough to hang out on the playground and walk home depending on the weather.

hi im carmen 27yrs old. a filipina and i'm interested in applying as a live-in caregiver. i've been working here in canada for almost 3yrs. as a nanny and my contract will be expiring on this coming april 8, 2007. i just wondering if you have a position (live-in if possible) available i don't have yet a driver license. but most of the duties regarding taking good care of a baby/child, i can asssure you that i can handle it very well. regarding about the household chores or housekeeping i'm good at that but not that much on cooking. i know some employers wanted or prefered who knows how to cook but im still hoping that u can give or find me someone that doesn't mind if their nanny can cook. i will be committed for them for the whole year and im willing to undergo the probation period just to prove them that i am worth hiring for. if someone will be interested i can fax to your office my resume just give a call at 604-7275948. thank you very much.

Dear Family,
I'll start by telling you a little about myself... My name is Helene. I"m 20 years old. I'm fun loving, energetic and, athletic.
I really enjoy working with children, and since I am from a homeschool, Christian family with 10 Children between the ages of 6-27, I've basically worked with a variety of ages, situations, and temperaments as you can imagine, including 3 of my sisters have Cystic Fibrosis (CF) - Which is a disease that affects your lungs and digestive system, and is also the number 1 genetic killer in Children in the USA.
I was raised on a small hobby farm since I was 6 years old - and am very accustomed to farm type chores.
Some of the Skills that I have or different situations that I have experience with are as followed.
1. Homeschooling.
2. Cooking.
3. Cleaning.
4. First Aid - CPR levels, C and D.
5. Gardening.
6. Tae Kwon Do - a red belt black stripe (one step away from my black belt) Which make me qualified in bodyguard type situations. I specialized in Self Defense, and working through stressful situations.
7. I have worked along side my Dad in constructions on a garage, and porch that we built.
8. I have many hours experience operating a tractor with front end loader, mowing, cultivating.
9. I am also moderately capable in regards to sewing - as I took 2 years of sewing courses.
10. I am well versed in Computers, and other electronics.
11. And one year experience being a full-time nanny/teacher.
Above were some of the skills that you might find of help to your family, or it may tell you that I'm a hard worker and not afraid to learn something new, and become good at it.

Below are my expectations of your family.
1. Family with good morals.
2. Family oriented, children are not thought of as a burden.
3. I would be thought of as a nanny not a mother.
4. A vehicle would be provided - all expenses paid - including gas.
5. Room and board expenses covered - either live-in or live-out.
6. In addition a minimum of $600 per week ( on top of all other expenses )
7. I would receive overtime pay for anything over 50 hours a week.
8. A total 3 weeks vacation over a year.
9. Traveling expenses to come work for you covered.
10. To be treated as a part of the family.
Any other details can be discussed at a different time.
