It is too late for Microsoft to enter portable gaming. I always thought the idea of a portable Xbox would be great but MS never made one.

vince:: i7? You mean the Intel processor? I'm assuming you're talking about gaming on a laptop (considering the subject matter of this thread) :)

For those users who don't have a PSP and considering picking one up, I think the PSP Go sounds like a viable choice. For people like me considering an upgrade, the Go is a no. From what I've read...
- There's no plans of being able to convert your current game library (legitimately anyway) to play on the Go, seeing as it's medialess
- You can't use your Memory Stick Pro in the Go. It takes the M2 media
At this rate, if I wanted to upgrade, I guess I'd get a 3000 series. Though, part of me is actually consdering keeping the ol PSP and homebrewing it, then picking up a 3000-series :P HAHAHAHA!

Still have a 1st gen PSP. Haven't really used it in awhile, but that doesn't mean I don't want to play it. I still appreciate the little collection I have for it (from God of War, to my puzzle games like Lumines).
Nowadays, I'm actually playing some of the free apps for my iPod. It's funny when I think about it. It's like my iPod has taken the place of both my PSP and my Dell Axim (something I thought would never happen), though when I think about it more, I'd still prefer gaming on my PSP. Wish I could say the same about my PDA, but that's another story :P

We both had DS Lites as well. At least until the PS3 jacked the price down
We will return to handheld gaming fairly soon when we choose between the DSi and the PSPgO. Wireless connectivity as well as game variety will be the key determining factors.
But for now, we got us a Little Big Planet to conquer!

The new gen psp looks pretty cool... it's very small and it works solely on downloaded media. It has limited memory, but your downloads can go into a vault so that you don't have to pay for them again.
