Watching the fight, I saw many holes on Mayweather when he's on the offensive. Yes, he's very tight when on the defensive and fighting for the points. But when he wants to fight like he did with Mosley from rounds 7-12, it will be his biggest mistake. With that said, I'm pretty sure that's not what he'll do. Mayweather is very illusive with a very quick jab, but Manny is the one who will not back off just beause of a jab. His style does not suit that. When Manny throws, he throws in combos... in different "weird" angles. I saw combination punches with counts up to seven. Combine that with diffrent angles, and it's a killer. The last time Mayweather faught a South Paw was a while back with Zab Judah. Zab was also quick, and actually KD'd Mayweather. Referree just didn't see it. Manny Pacquiao's right hook will be very difficult for Mayweather as his shoulder roll will do little to protect him. He's only mastered his shoulder roll defense against conventional fighters. Manny has been in wars with blood spent, and Mayweather has no experience of such. I believe he will lose confindense as soon as he see's blood. Mayweather's big advantage will be his reach (5" advantage as I recall)! Combine that with his quickness, and it's a killer combination. | ||

After watching this fight, I think it will be very interesting to watch Mayweather's speed & defence vs. Pacquiao's speed & power. Mayweather is very fast, great counter puncher, ability to adjust, high work rate and tight defence. Maybe a weak jaw, but very difficult to find that spot. Mosley was no match, he was too slow, did not move well, did not have enough punching output to follow up and knockout Mayweather. So Mosley got out boxed and out classed by Mayweather. Pacquiao is also very fast, but is very powerful puncher, great finisher, super high work rate, very high punching output, strong jaw, and very elusive with weird angle punches. Left and right arms have power. Clottey was no match for Pacquiao's high intensity work rate, he spent the whole match blocking shots. He did however hit Manny with solid punches, but not enough output to follow up and hurt Manny (which tends to get hit when he attacks, but has great chin).
Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. This will be epic!
My prediction: Mayweather will win UD if he out box Pacquiao. Pacquiao will KTFO Mayweather if he catches him with a clean shot.

Majority wins on the poll. I for one agree with you. Mosley got his (big) piece of pie, all right. Mayweather's got a glass jaw. Sweet. Manny will almost certainly win, that is if 'Money' steps up and stops running away for a change.

mayweather won't fight pacquiao... period! I watched the fight, and knowing how fragile mayweather's jaw is, there is no chance he can duck all pacquiao's power punches. there will be an excuse... | ||

I think Pacquiao and Mayweather are just stirring up some controversy to hype up their fight some time this year. |
